You can upgrade to either the Top water rod. These rods add 10 dollars to the cost of your Packer Compact Fishing Rod. The super sensitivity of these longer rods work very well in many trolling applications as well. Be sure to run the line through the coils anytime you are trolling regardless of the type of rig.
