Hi Folks, this new rod tip is just too cool. You do loose some of the compactness of the system with it because it is about 22 inches long. BUT, if you are looking for some more action, a great ice fishing tip and a great fun enhancer this tip is perfect! It fits just the same as other tips. We are coming on line shortly with a couple more rods/poles. Ultimately, each of the products where it makes sense will have an option to purchase the rods with the longer rod tip. Until then, if you do not want to buy and extra rod, you can buy these poles with the long tip for an extra ten dollars. Please shoot me an email and we will figure out how to do the billing because the site does not yet accomodate that.
I was reading something else about this on another blog. Interesting. Your linear perspective on it is diametrically contradicted to what I read earlier. I am still mulling over the different points of view, but I’m tipped heavily toward yours. And no matter, that’s what is so great about modern democracy and the marketplace of thoughts online.

Also, my two other jobs are both self employment so I can manipulate my schedule to concentrate where concentration is necessary. As you say, it takes a lot of time and effort to keep up.
