May 1, 2011 Eloika Lake Fishing Report

Hi Folks, not much to say!  Stopped by Jerry’s Landing on the east side of Eloika Lake, Spokane County Washington to check out how the fish were biting.  Jerry said it was pretty slow.  His son had caught a 4.5 pound bass which they released so you can catch it again.  They heard a few people were catching Crappie but had not seen the catch.  That day, several people had brought in 12 inch rainbow trout.  The rainbows were caught with a spinner by trolling.   The perch were dieting as none of them had showed up.  Jerry said the water temperature was about 45 degrees.  It really needs to get up to about 50 degrees for the fish to start actively seeking new frying pay residences.

Give Jerry and Lori a call.  They have a dock, boats, canoes, a bait store etc.  There is also a ramp there where you can put your boat in the water.

Their phone number is 509 292 2337, their email is jerryslanding@earthlink.net and their address is N 41114 Lake Shore Rd, El WA 99009.
